 July 12, 2008 Feist/Jeff Tweedy duetThis week I was lucky enough to be assisting on an informal Feist/Wilco demo session at the Wilco loft. The session was run by Feist's engineer Robbie Lackritz and playing was Jeff Tweedy, Glenn Kotche, and Pat Sansone on a Jeff penned duet for him and Feist to sing together. The song sounded great. We don't get enough two star duets anymore, do we? File this under "You Don't Bring Me Flowers", "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" and "Stop Draggin My Heart Around". I hope it gets released. It's a lovely song. UPDATE: Yes! They recorded an extended version that IS on the new Wilco record! Thank goodness... |
