The Coctails & Archer Prewitt Tour Japan!

That is right. After nine years of being broken up the Coctails have reunited for a few very special shows this year (opened for the Pixies, Yo La Tengo, as well as a sold out show in Chicago in celebration of the release of the Coctails'  Popcorn Box Set). Now you can add Japan to the list. In association with the release of the Presspop action figures (see older news item) and a new Japanese only 10" EP record entitled "Let's Enjoy - The Coctails", the Coctails will take the show to Japan! Also on the bill will be Archer Prewitt and his band.

Along with three sold out shows for the Coctails and Archer Prewitt band, there are also art gallery showings for the Coctails' artwork at the Transpop Gallery in Kyoto and the Billiken Gallery in Tokyo. The gallery shows will include original Coctails art, a display of many of the classic flyers as well as a new book of the Coctails flyer art, the new 12" action figures, tote bags, T-shirt designs, the Japanese-only 10" ep, album art, and more.
