Aside from composer duties, I have played and recorded and toured as a member of bands such as the Coctails (Hi-Ball/Carrot Top), Archer Prewitt (Trill Jockey), Chestnut Station (Drag City), and Eleventh Dream Day (Thrill Jockey). I have also toured with Smog and the Sea And Cake. I have played on recordings by OKGO (Capitol), Wilco (Reprise), Rachel’s (Touch & Go), and the Drag City Super Sessions among others. My engineering work has included recording Andrew Bird (Fat Possum), Dianogah (Southern), Edith Frost (Drag City), Currituck County (Teenbeat), the Zincs (Thrill Jockey), the Mekons (Touch & Go), and Azita (Drag City) to name a few.
