Suzuki Japanese Table Harp

I have heard many different names for this from 'tabletop banjo' to 'Ozark Guitar'. Suzuki calls it a Table Harp. I think it is actually called a Tarang. It seems to be the wedding of a type writer to a dulcimer. It has five strings and is a chromatic instrument. This model also has a bridge pickup for easy amplification. After I bought this I used it on literally every piece of music I made for eight months and really, I still seem to be able to fit it in most things. Jeff Tweedy used it on his Jandek cover "Crack A Smile" that he recorded at Mayfair with his son Spencer. I have used it on recordings by the Coctails and Edith Frost.
